Tuesday, June 20, 201706:30 pm
The Barnegat Bay is a national ecological treasure. Home to an amazing diversity of wildlife, the bay is a favorite destination for both locals and visitors. Head down to the bay and chances are you will see someone enjoying activities like boating, fishing, crabbing, clamming, and birding. Wetlands and other bay habitats also help protect coastal communities. Learn how scientists assess the state of this valuable estuary and how we are all partners in its protection.
Presented by Karen Walzer, the Public Outreach Coordinator for the Barnegat Bay Partnership, the National Estuary Program for the Barnegat Bay.
